Chef-couple Mette and Martin runs the Trondheim restaurant Le Bistro together. They have several years of experience from Oslo and Trondheim, working at and running other restaurants.
-Our food philosophy is that we enjoy making real food with proper produce available at any given time. Le Bistro is run as a modern French bistro where we serve classic French food but also experiment with more modern techniques.
Fredrik originates from Trondheim and is co-owner and Head Chef of Spontan Vinbar in the middle of Trondheim. At Spontan you can choose between a serving of 9-10 dishes or 5 dishes. At the wine-bar you can join in their themed wine-evenings and enjoy some small nibbles.
Håvard Klempe and Jørgen Dons make up the duo of Klempe & Dons, a pop-up concept where food and drinks intertwine and co-exist in a whole new manner. The concept always consists of ten courses and ten drinks, with a new menu and a new concept each time.
Eskil has worked at Oslo restaurants such as Palace Grill, Pjoltergeist, Arakataka and Nemesis. He has part-taken in several competitions including Chef of the Year and has been a Commis Chef in Bocuse dór. He is now one of two Head Chefs at To Rom og Kjøkken, a family run Trondheim restaurant inspired by the Mediterranean.
Andreas started as a trainee at To Rom og KJøkken and has lived and worked in Copenhagen at the restaurants Studio and Geranium.
- Our philosophy is to get the best out of local produce with inspiration from across the world says Hildonen. - In addition knowledge sharing is important for us and we actively work with trainees and are proud to say we have helped over 50 chefs and waiters get their education says Hildonen.
Reneé is one of our Festival Chefs this year. She originates from Tønsberg but has grown up in Trøndelag. In 2016 she became Norways first Top Chef. She runs her own restaurant Bula Bistro in Trondheim, and is the author of two cookbooks.
Thomas is one of our Festival Chefs. He is from Trøndelag and has over 20 years experience as a chef, having worked everywhere from Svalbard to New York and a few places in-between. He runs his own restaurant Kraft Bodega and catering company Kontrast Catering, both located in Trondheim.
