2026 Product of the Year Awards
An expert panel consisting of chefs, sommeliers, and food and beverage professionals has evaluated the entries for Product of the Year 2026. Following extensive tastings and professional assessments, three products have been nominated in each category. The winners will be announced during the opening ceremony of the Trøndelag Food Festival and the Trondheim Beer Festival on August 6.

The funds Trondheim Brewery Festival is receiving as part of the Covid Compensation Act in Trondheim Municipality makes it possible to create an event with all the necessary Covid regulations the weekend of July 29-31. Sami food celebration at Halsen Middle School
Cured reindeer heart served on blinis, potato waffle with reindeer tongue and sea buckthorn sauce. Reindeer meat stew, lingonberry cream and coffee made on the fire! The Trøndelag food culture is inherently also Sami food culture, and at Halsen Middle School in Stjørdal the Trøndelag Food Manifesto Day was celebrated in the outdoors in -12 degrees Celsius.
