In 2024, SalMar took home the Audience Award for Best Oi! Dish with their creation “Salmon in Good Company.”
“Our dish features 99% local ingredients from Trøndelag, and we proudly present our contribution: lightly cured salmon from Frøya with aquavit from Inderøy and wild herbs from Trøndelag. Whipped Røros sour cream with feather wrack served on Frøya flatbread, all topped with pickled onions and crispy white curly kale.”
