Elset Farm

Elset farm is right next to Bynesmarka with a fantastic view over the Trondheimsfjord. We have cashmere goats for meat, cashmere leather, cashmere wool and landscape care. We rent out our goats in the period May-October to graze throughout Trøndelag. We then use a virtual fence system called Nofence. Every autumn it is possible to buy fresh meat from us as we have a agreement with Nortura that we take back all meat, cut up according to the customer's wishes, and then deliver it to the door of customers in the Trondheim area. We offer frozen parts of goat, pinnekjøtt, fenalår and goat sausages, which we sell either from the farm, various food markets, REKO rings or at Coop Marked Rye. In addition, we deliver some meat to hotels and restaurants locally. We do not use pesticides and artificial fertilizers. In connection with goats give birth to their children and grazing inspection, we use a concentrate without soya protein and palm fat, this is a concentrate based on Norwegian grain and Nordic rapeseed. From May 2023 we offer accommodation in the old traditional main house on the farm.
