LiVERTEN

LiVERTEN serves food based on tradition, and takes pride in the food we serve. Playing with food was something we were rarely allowed to do as children, but at LiVERTEN we are grown up enough to play with food when we want to, and we often do. One of the specialties is "græv"-fish, a specialty from Lierne that is similar to cured fish, but is milder and more sour in taste. Char is laid down and matured in a brine of milk whey. At the Trøndersk Food Festival 2023 you can buy badger fish, rakish fish, "pekka" bread, mullet panna cotta and "ligold". From our local food food truck, our famous signature dish LiBab is served, which is Lierne's answer to kebabs. Fried reindeer fillet with mushrooms and onions, served in our stone oven-baked flat bread with salad and cranberry dressing. With this, we won the NM in Street Food in the summer of 2022. For dessert, we recommend our mullet panna cotta. With this dessert, we won gold for "Best dessert" during the EC in Street food in Munich October 2022. Welcome to A TASTE OF LIERNE!
