We’ll begin with raw 100% cacao and work our way through the chocolate palette – from pure chocolate bars to award-winning, hand-crafted filled chocolates. Along the way, Iris will share the story of how one woman with a desire to give her guests “something extra” built a cornerstone company in Selbu with over 30 employees – and international acclaim, including being the most awarded at the International Chocolate Awards World! In 2025, Jentene på Tunet celebrates its 10th anniversary – and they would love to celebrate it with you; Welcome to a flavorful experience at the Trøndelag Food Festival! About the course instructor: Iris Martinsen-Aune is a trained chef, dietary economist, and self-taught chocolatier. Together with her husband Eivind, she has built Jentene på Tunet – a chocolate factory producing world-class chocolate. Iris is a creative flavor developer with a keen eye for quality, and ranks among the best chocolatiers in the world. Her heartfelt passion goes into every chocolate and flavor she creates. This is craftsmanship and quality at its finest! If you’ve ever tasted a chocolate from Jentene på Tunet, you probably know exactly what we mean!

Norwegian apple cider has seen tremendous development and growth over many years, and now production is also gaining momentum in Trøndelag. Yngve from Inderøy Mosteri will share insights on what it’s like to grow apples in Trøndelag, what it takes to produce apples of top quality for cider making, and present some of his own flavors. Ulrik from ØX will talk about the cider production process - from apple juice to finished product - what makes Norwegian and Trøndersk cider unique, and present different cider styles.
