Looking for a food manufacturer or product? Here you can find it.
EXPLORE Renowned for its distinct quality and variety, Norwegian seafood has a global reputation. Visit the seafood market at Clarion Hotel Trondheim, and get to know local seafood producers. They look forward to tell you more about their products and, of course, offer tastings and demonstrations. Here you can buy temptations to take home, or as a perfect gift. EXPERIENCE Expect more than the usual at the seafood market. Arne Hjeltnes will be the host and guide you through an amazing show cooking when the best seafood are prepared for the open stage. Show cooking is entertaining and educational, and here you will learn how to prepare affordable seafood meals, experience culinary arts and of course the Children`s Seafood Festival. EAT Trondheim is a culinary centre, and the city’s restaurants and eateries celebrate the Norway Seafood Festival with their own seafood menus. The seafood producers invite you to their own themed events to inspire you when they present their specialities. LEARN Join exciting lectures and courses about seafood. In 2023, among others, Trøndelag Sankeri lectured about how seaweed and kelp can be used as ingredients. Is seafood as quick and affordable to prepare as frozen pizza? This was demonstrated to students at Havet Arena when Domstein invited them to a delicious pollock meal. CHILDREN SEAFOOD FESTIVAL Children and young people have a natural place during the festival, and we look forward to engaging and stimulating the curiosity of the little ones. The Children’s Seafood Festival should combine play and learning about the sea seamlessly. Among other things, the Trondheim Science Center will participate in the festival with activities for both young and older children. The SeeSalmon experience center provides children and young people with a unique opportunity to learn about the aquaculture industry through engaging educational programs that focus on aquaculture and sustainability.
