Barley is probably the world's oldest cultivated plant and is often included in the collective term "primitive grain". On the farm in Tynset municipality, barley of the Tiril variety is produced and processed. A variety that contains much of the Nordic heritage for barley. The aim is to be able to grind all self-produced grain, that is approximately 40,000 kilos per year.
